DIGITAL XRAYS
In dentistry, digital radiographs (xrays) have been around for more than a decade now. One of the biggest advantages of using digital technology, is that it often leads to earlier detection of decay and infection, which leads to minimally invasive treatment. The reason, they are viewed on a computer monitor verses a 1" x 1.5" film, and have many tools avaliable to magnify and better see the teeth and supporting structures.
