Preventive Dentistry

Dentistry has long been applauded for advocating preventive treatment.  At Summerville Dentistry we encourage a minimum of two examinations and prophys every year.  Studies have shown frequency to be optimum for detecting abnormalities in the mouth.  The result is prevenitng many problems from occuring, and intervening in problem areas while they are small and less invasive.
