REPLACING A MISSING TOOTH
There are multiple ways to replace a missing tooth or teeth
- AN IMPLANT--when possible, this is the best method
- A BRIDGE--when possible, this method is great, and it fixed (non-removable)
- RPD-- (removable partial denture)--as stated in it's name, this appliance removable. It is used to replace multiple missing teeth, but some remaining good teeth
- FULL DENTURE-- this appliance is used when an arch of the mouth has no remaining teeth
