Scott Wingard
Scott Wingard, D.M.D. orginally from Powder Springs, Georgia near Atlanta attended Georgia Southern University to receive a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Graduate pursuits at The Medical College of Georgia awarded him with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1999.
Dr. Wingard, his wife Melissa, their two sons, and daughter worship, reside, and practice professions in the Augusta area. First Baptist Church of Augusta welcomed Dr. Wingard's family as members, where he teaches a Royal Ambassadors group and in 2007 was elected a deacon. Dr. Wingard enjoys hunting, golf, and watching all types of sports on television. Medical/Dental missions summoned Dr. Wingard to Honduras, South America in 2004, 2005, and again to Equador in February 2007.
Currently Dr. Wingard is involved with local missions associated with New Hope Church and First Baptist Church to coordinate The Under the Bridge Ministry-a local ministry that provides food and clothing to the homeless. Our entire staff volunteers at The Hope Dental Clinic, which provides dental care to the underpriviledged.
His dental practice opened in 1999 and is located in historic Summerville Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Wingard is an active member of The American Dental Association, The Georgia Dental Association, The Eastern District Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, and The Augusta Dental Society.
Dr. Wingard strives to provide compassionate care to each person. He is passionate about dentistry and enjoys getting to know each patient and their family. He jokingly tells everyone that his goal is to "save the world, one tooth at a time." His desire to please the Lord, his family, and his patients is evident in the atmosphere of the office. He would love for you to be a part of our family at Summerville Dentistry.

Rhonda with 21 years experience was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Science from The Medical College of Georgia in 1992.
Lara with 20 years experience was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Science from The Medical College of Georgia in 1993.
Certified Dental Assistants
Dee with 30 years experience, received her certification from Augusta Technical College in 1981.
Donna with 25 years experience, received her certification from the U.S. Naval Dental Assisting Program in 1991.
