How Does Invisalign Work?
Invisalign works to straighten the teeth in a manner similar to traditional braces. The aligner trays apply gentle pressure to the teeth to gradually move them in the desired direction over time. A set of two trays are worn at a time. One tray fits over the top row of teeth, while the other fits over the bottom row. Each set of aligner trays is worn for a few weeks and is then replaced with a new set of trays. With each new set of trays, the positioning of the teeth is closer to the desired final position. Teeth straightening usually takes about twelve months with Invisalign.

There are numerous benefits associated with Invisalign, one of which being how discreet the treatment is. The aligner trays are clear so they are not readily noticeable to others, making your smile appear natural. Another benefit is that the aligner trays are made from a soft plastic material so they are comfortable to wear.
